She keeps saying she'gonna put them in new books for me, & I really appreciate that, but I wanna scan them into the ol' PC NOW so I can look at them whenever I want! *looks around, sneakily* Maybe I can smuggle some of the out the next time I'm over there! LOL!! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* This is my Mom, Jane! At 4'11" & 80+ yrs. old, she's still a spitfire! This is a pic we took some years ago to give to my Mom for Christmas. LOL!) *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* I love my children more than anything else in the world. Now they have all grown up & brought new members into our Family! I could not have hand picked better mates for my kids than they, themselves, have chosen! Tonya, Kara, & Jay are the sweetest, funniest, loving, & most considerate people you'd ever want to meet! I am very lucky to have them in my life & in my childrens' lives! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* My eldest "baby", Christopher, here with his wonderful wife, Tonya. We were at a restaurant near their home in North Carolina. It's so beautiful down there! I love visiting & wish I could see more of them. Chris has been a Marine for the last 17 years. They met while Tonya was in The Marines, too, & have been married for over 10 years. (Where does the time go???) She is a smart young woman with many talents, including being a successful author! UPDATE: 10/07 Chris was recently deployed to Iraq for the second time. We all miss him terribly & pray for his swift, safe return! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* My beautiful middle child, Katherine (Kitty), & her sweetheart, Jay. (I luv ya too, "Root Man"!:) They live right up the street from me with their "Fur Kids". She is my "bestest" friend & my ROCK!! I call her whenever I'm in trouble! (i.e., bat in my apt. in the middle of the night, dead car, pet stashing, etc.! LOL!) She's the one who treats me to all those fantastic trips & cruises! We have a lot of great memories! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* My youngest son, Nicholas (Nick), & his sweet lady, Kara. They share the same birthday- 2/2, Groundhog Day! (Their daughter's BDay is 1/1, & my other son Chris' BDay is 3/3!!:) Nick is the tall (6'4"),strong, quiet type, but he has a wicked sharp sense of humor! He will always be my "Baaaaaby NICK"! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Kitty had a casual dinner party for Chris & Tonya when they came up to see their new niece, Isabelle, last February. Just before the other guests arrive, Chris & Kit make faces at each other for some reason as Tonya looks on. Jay & Nick are Best Buds! They work together for the same company & hang out together in their spare time, too. They obviously share the same love of headwear & Dunkin Doughnuts coffee! LOL! The only division between them? Jay is a diehard NY Yankees fan & Nick is a diehard Boston Red Sox fan! They also have their separate "Fantasy Football Teams" online! . My 4-yr-old great-niece, Kelsey (my sister's grandaughter), was there, too. She's such a lil' sweety! & WHAT a great imagination! We always have such fun when we get together! You can't see her very well, but that's her mom, Tracy, holding the baby in the background.
